Assistance to help solve your education and training related challenges

Training dollars are available up to $4,000 to assist eligible individuals selected by the employer to prepare for entry or re-entry into the labor force: On-the-Job-Training - allows the employer to be reimbursed up to 50 percent of participant's salary while they are completing their training. The training is provided by the employer while participant is engaged in productive work in a job that provides knowledge or skills essential to the full and adequate performance of that job. Customized Training - Designed to meet the special requirements of an employer or group of employers. It is conducted with a commitment by the employer(s) to employ the individuals who successfully complete the training. The employer pays not less than 50 percent of the training costs. NOTE: The employer is not responsible for salary expense until the participant completes the training.
